Three avid urban cyclist will discuss riding your bicycle safely on the congested streets of New York City offering tips and know how in getting around the city by bicycle. Touching on topics as commuting to work, riding your bicycle to earned income, cycling in competitive sports and some of the challenges women riders face in the city. The discussion will also include social communities build around cycling and the emergent of urban cycling in popular culture through films and fashion. After the discussion there will be an opportunity to asked panelist questions.

Ruby Brunton is a New Zealand-raised writer, poet and performer who now lives in Brooklyn. She spends a lot of time thinking about intimacy, resistance, how to create community and education alternatives.
