В этом году знаменитый TechCrunch Disrupt – ежегодная конференция проводимая с 2011 года, в которой принимают участия старт-апы предлогающие инвесторам продукты и сервесы на стадии внедрения самым крупным венчурным компаниям. Среди получивших инвестиции на прошедших конференциях такие компании как Qwiki, Getaround, YourMechanic, and Enigma.io.
В 2016 году Tech-crunch Disrupt Нью-Йорк впервые будет проходить в Бруклине, и на его открытии примет участие президент Бруклина Eric L. Adams.
