“10 Under 20: Digital Whiz Kids to Watch” Awards Program
New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) has announced the launch of a new, annual awards competition to celebrate the tri-state area’s best, young tech innovators in a program called “10 Under 20: Digital Whiz Kids to Watch,” which will honor 10 high school and college students under 20 years old who are on the forefront of hardware and software innovation.The winners will be announced in a special ceremony at CE Week on June 25 at the Metropolitan Pavilion on 18th Street
“America’s Got Geek”
Help choose the next, great YouTube Tech Star, as GetGeeked comes to CE Week on June 25 to audition talent and create a meet-up for hundreds of video tech bloggers. We’re expecting 500 tech influencers to keep the show buzzing with social media on Day 2.
Showstoppers Media Breakfast
CE Week Exhibits on June 24 will again kick off with an exclusive media breakfast for a carefully curated crowd of media. Last year over 700 members of the media came to the show. And this year Showstoppers is bringing their media and technology picks to CE Week TV, enabling us to reach an additional 50,000 members of the media worldwide.
New York’s Finest Start-ups
CE Week has partnered with the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) to bring local up-and-coming startups to CE Week 2014. As part of NYCEDC’s efforts to support New York City’s booming technology sector, NYCEDC has planned the second annual NYC Startup Pavilion to be featured on the CE Week exhibit floor. The pavilion will showcase local tech innovators and budding startups.

All the products, all the demos, all the conferences, and all the press conferences will be recorded and streamed for a worldwide audience through our targeted email lists and partners. Last year the show floor was covered by leading broadcast journalists from ABC, CBS, CNBC, CNET, CNN, ESPN, Fox, NBC, TWIT and BNET. In addition, this year we’re again taking all the new products to the widest possible audience of consumers and trade via our own media.
Women in CE
Women in CE, an organization focused on empowering women, building networks, and supporting career opportunities in the consumer electronics industry returns to New York City during CE Week with the fourth annual Women in CE Forum.
