Special gratitude to my tireless staff — Jeannine Cherichetti, Ayanna Williams, Erica Turner, Ather Tirmizi, Angel Fung, Leah Moses, Iulia Yaroslavskiy — for a great work preparing this neighborhood forum and making an outreach to agencies and residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had an extensive discussion about sanitation problems in Gravesend, unsatisfactory conditions in West Playground, abandoned cars on Avenue Z, accessibility issues at Marlboro Houses, lack of street lights, homelessness crisis, pedestrian safety, and many other concerns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attendees thanked all agencies representatives and my office staff for this opportunity to address their issues. Some problems were resolved right there. My office will follow up on all concerns raised at Town Hall & will continue to help Southern Brooklyn communities in many different ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
